Coaches/Parents/Sportsmanship

1. Coaches/parents are encouraged to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times. Coaches and players are to congratulate each other and the opposing team after each game.
2. Parents should allow coaches to coach and kids to play. T-Ball is an introductory level to baseball. The players will learn basic fundamentals and simple rules. T-Ball is a game designed to have FUN with minimum skill levels. Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch Leagues are primarily designed to be more instructional with the emphasis on improving skills and fundamentals.
3. Please do not overemphasize winning. Having fun should be the premise for everyone.
4. The umpire’s calls are final! No arguing or debating judgment calls. If you are questioning the rule’s interpretation, call time out and discuss privately, demonstrating good behavior/sportsmanship.

6. No pets are allowed on church property.
7. No outside food or drinks are to be brought into the park.
8. No tobacco use.
9. No profanity.
10. No practices are allowed on North Park’s baseball/t-ball fields.
11. At the completion of each game, each team shall be responsible for to have the dugouts and stands clean before leaving the property.

12. Rainouts

    Every attempt will be made to play as scheduled. In the event we cannot play because of inclement weather or poor field conditions, your coach/team mom will be contacted as soon as possible by a league coordinator. If you are in doubt and cannot be reached or cannot reach your coach or team mom, please call our rainout number at 281.363.1430. North Park Sports will not be responsible for contacting parents.
