Batting - All players must bat in consecutive order throughout the game. If a player bats out of order, player(s) who missed their turn to bat shall be immediately inserted until proper order is attained. Player(s) who show up late shall be reported to batting lineup keeper(s) and placed at the end of the batting order.
- Helmets must be worn while batting, while in the on-deck circle, and while running the bases. The pitching position is optional.
- Only batter and on-deck batter shall hold a bat in hand. Coaches/parents need to monitor this at all times.
- Ball must go past arc in front of home plate to be considered “in play.”
- Three coaches are required on the field during batting:
- Hitting Coach
- First Base Coach
- Third Base Coach
- One practice swing and three strikes (attempts) to hit the ball off the tee.
